The Team
Who We Are
Shannon O'Brien
Community Facilitator
Shannon is an experienced group facilitator and passionate advocate for ADHD awareness, particularly in women. Diagnosed in her mid-20s, Shannon has dedicated herself to deepening her understanding of ADHD, with a special focus on its interaction with hormonal changes.
With a background in tourism and a natural ability to connect with people, Shannon has helped countless ADHDers gain clarity and confidence in their own journeys.
Her experience of coaching was transformational and has inspired her to train as a Coach. Her ultimate goal is to build a thriving coaching career, foster meaningful conversations around ADHD, and break down the stigma that still surrounds neurodiversity.

Cate O'Connor
Youth and Family Coach
Cates journey with ADHD began in her early 40s when she was diagnosed, bringing a profound shift in how she understood herself. She had spent years navigating challenges in school, work, and daily life, attributing them to dyslexia. Discovering ADHD helped her reframe her experiences, let go of self-judgment, and find ways to work with her brain instead of against it.
For over two decades, she worked in the youth and community sector, supporting young people and families facing complex challenges. She developed and delivered training, facilitated groups, supported individuals, and managed projects aimed at creating real, lasting change. Seeing the barriers for young people and families to ADHD support—long waiting lists, high costs, and lack of awareness— she wanted to be part of the solution.
